The UTE Indra Alstom has Gruponet for the installation of the TETRA coverage network in the AVE tunnels in Galicia, in the Vilariño-Taboadela section
Gruponet continues to collaborate in the deployment of the TETRA network on the AVE in Galicia, in this case in the hands of the UTE formed by Indra and Alstom for the execution of the works on the section that runs between Vilariño and Taboadela. Specifically, the UTE has assigned Gruponet to carry out the installation, testing and commissioning of the TETRA coverage extension system in the Bolaños, Portocamba and Cerdedelo tunnels.
It is a network that captures the TETRA signal from outside the tunnels, amplifies it and injects it inside them by means of a DAS (distributed antenna system) composed of Master Stations and redundant configuration and interior slave repeaters with their radiating systems interconnected by fiber optics. Quality interior coverage is ensured with the installation of leaky cable throughout the tunnels and antennas for the transverse galleries.
In this case, the project includes the installation of the complete system, except for the measurements and the start-up of the equipment:
- 8 TETRA repeaters interconnected with fiber optic master stations
- 17.5 Km of 1 + 5/8 ”leaky cable for tunnel coverage
- 20 antennas for gallery coverage.
- Interconnection wiring between entrances and master repeater stations.
