Gruponet is collaborating with Indra Sistemas in the construction of a mobile phone coverage extension network in Metro de Madrid. It is a neutral, multi-band and multi-operator network promoted by Metrocall and used by the main operators to offer voice and data coverage in Metro's infrastructures, including its extensive network of tunnels. Although the project began years ago with specific deployments of the 2G and 3G networks, Gruponet has joined it in this new phase, in which a definitive boost is given to the deployment and it is intended to complete the entire coverage of the network, including 4G.

On the other hand, since 2010 Gruponet has collaborated closely with Amper Sistemas in the deployment of the Metro de Madrid TETRA network, participating in the installation of the coverage extension systems of this mobile communications network in most of the lines of your network, including entrances, lobbies, platforms and tunnels.

In addition, Gruponet has been the company in charge of carrying out the renovation of the multi-operator coverage network of the Atocha station in Madrid, both in the AVE area and in the Cercanías area, including lobbies and platforms. In this project, Gruponet has carried out the installation and tests of the complete system, collaborating with our client Telecom CLM.
In parallel, Gruponet has participated in the last 2 years in several projects to extend comprehensive EGSM mobile phone coverage inside several Iberdrola dams, collaborating with our client Comfica.

These works, together with other highly relevant ones carried out in recent years, consolidate Gruponet as a benchmark company in the execution of indoor coverage projects in railway infrastructures, as well as other complex infrastructures, such as airports, shopping centers, business centers and underground car parks.

This activity, in which Gruponet is able to offer a full range of services (design, supply, installation and testing), has become a strategic business unit for the company, which we continue to develop with new projects.
