After 2 years of work, the main deployment works for the Metrocall network have been completed, aimed at providing the Madrid metro with multi-operator and multi-technology mobile phone coverage for our client Indra.
Gruponet has participated in a very significant way in said deployment, specifically on lines 1, 4, 5, 7, 10, 11 and 12, with these deployment volumes:
- 49 kilometers of 1-5 / 8 ”leaky cable laid throughout the tunnels
- 12 kilometers of coaxial cables
- 60 kilometers of fiber optic cables, and their corresponding junction boxes, derivations, distributors and mergers.
- 33 kilometers of power cable
- 160 indoor antennas
- 77 triple remote heads (3 operators) interconnected by FO to the master base stations, which we have also installed and commissioned.
Likewise, Gruponet has participated in the verification measures of the network elements (radiant equipment and systems) and the commissioning and integration.
